Work Package 2 completed—Surpassing all expectations

We are proud to announce the successful completion of Work Package 2, which not only met but significantly exceeded its original objectives. Through close collaboration among all five project partners, we developed a dynamic and versatile Training Package comprising ten high-quality modules, double the initially planned number. These modules are designed to be used across a wide variety of educational settings and aim to support students from diverse backgrounds in strengthening their knowledge and competencies in STEAM education. The Training Package includes five thematic modules, Biodiversity, Air Quality, (Pre-)Engineering, Ecology, and Arts & Humanities, as well as five cross-cutting modules focusing on Non-Formal Learning, the STEAM Education Approach, Diversity & Inclusion, Communication & Engagement, and Digital Skills. In addition to the module development, four local forums were organised with the participation of 69 individuals, contributing to a total of 118 feedback responses that were instrumental in refining the content. These efforts have led to increased awareness, motivation, and skills among educators and students alike in the field of non-formal STEAM education. To support the implementation and sustainability of the Training Package, four comprehensive reports were also produced: the Methodological Guidelines for Work Package 2 Activities, the Local Needs and Expectations Report, the Instructional Design and Integrated Pedagogical Framework, and the Performance Evaluation Report. Work Package 2 has laid a strong foundation for the next phases of the project, and we look forward to building on this momentum.
