Focus groups with Greek in service teachers and non-typical education educators organized by Stimmuli for Social Change

Stimmuli for Social Change held one focus group on Friday April 5th and one on Monday April 8th. Participants joined the focus groups online and offered their valuable insights and experience. The majority of the participants were primary school teachers, two were educators with experience in non-typical education and particularly in robotics and the use of robots in teaching various subjects. One of the participants was a teacher and a school director and the other one a teacher and teacher trainer.

The participants shared their experience in STEAM education, their own learning journey, mapped the necessary skills for teachers and discussed the challenges they and their students face. There was a lot of enthusiasm while sharing activities they have implemented to teach STEAM. As one participant said, “STEAM is inclusive education” and another one said “STEAM education allows students to discover their talents and reveal personalities such as the leader, the problem solver, the communicator”.
