Focus group with university students/pre-service teachers at the University of Nicosia (UNIC)

A focus group with pre-service teachers from the University of Nicosia took place in February 2024. The focus group with the pre-service teachers was contacted under the coordination of UNIC and INQUIRIUM. The group of students included a combination of primary and pre-primary education pre-service teachers, with some of them having experience in designing STEM and STEAM activities. As part of this meeting, the pre-service teachers discussed how STEAM is conceptualized, their experiences when designing STEAM activities as part of one of their courses, and their experience in implementing STEAM experiences as part of their school practice. The pre-service teachers also offered their ideas on how STEAM learning activities can be inclusive, especially using experiences from schools.
