Exploring the up-sTEAm project with educators at the Cyprus STEAME festival 2024

On the 30th of November 2024, we had the pleasure of presenting the purpose and vision of the Up-sTEAm project to a group of passionate educators during a dedicated workshop held at the Cyprus STEAME Festival 2024 in Limassol. The session offered an in-depth introduction to the project’s overarching aims, its key goals, and its target groups, while also providing an overview of the main educational modules developed to inspire and support innovative teaching practices. Following this introduction, participants engaged in a hands-on experience with the “Ecology” module through the activity titled “Greening your space.” Educators took part in a lively and interactive session, exploring real-world ecological challenges through interviews and creative tasks that brought the content of the module to life. The workshop fostered meaningful exchanges and encouraged participants to reflect on how non-formal STEAM education can be applied in their own educational settings.
