Description
This digital toolkit is part of the Up-sTEAm project and is designed to empower pre-primary and primary school teachers, as well as university students in education, to design and implement inclusive and engaging STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities. The toolkit is hosted on Blackboard, and aims to provide interactive content, multimedia resources, and practical tools to support STEAM learning both inside and outside the classroom. Specifically, the toolkit has been designed to include a variety of materials to support users in their understanding of STEAM education and the design and implementation of non-formal learning activities.
Some examples of the types of materials that are included are: presentations and videos providing an overview of the philosophy and principles of STEAM education as well as the key concepts and strategies for organizing non-formal activities (i.e. Sections 1-5); case studies and concrete examples of how to design and implement non-formal learning activities that are inclusive and adaptable to different learning needs (i.e. Section 3), templates of presentations and worksheets that can help users to plan and organize their own non-formal learning activities (sections 1-5 and localised STEAM curriculum), including activities that make use of digital technologies, best practices, resources and links, assessment and evaluation tools. The purpose of all these materials is to support users to evaluate the effectiveness of their non-formal learning activities and make any necessary adjustments to improve them. When users complete all quizzes will receive a certificate of completion which will appear in the platform and can be downloaded.
Registration
This Up-sTEAm Digital Toolkit is hosted on Blackboard and is available in four different languages, namely English, Greek, Dutch and Catalan. In order to access the Digital Toolkit new users need to register by following the link here: https://forms.gle/uoYwxwgFkFJXkRhh6
A username and a password will be provided to each new user via email. The process of registering is not automatic and therefore receiving your credentials might take up to 24 hours. Registration is required since a personal badge will be provided to users that complete all required quizzes within the Digital Toolkit. Information about the users and their activity within the Digital Toolkit will not be used outside the project.

The digital toolkit can be accessed using any browser and is also available on mobile devices. Once you click on the link that will take you to the Digital Toolkit the landing page will ask you to insert your username and password as received via email.
